"I've spent most of my life riding horses. The rest I've just wasted." - Unknown

Welcome to Black Hills Equestrian Center

Sarina and Dozer

Here at the Black Hills Equestrian Center, we believe that a beautiful ride is a true partnership. We strive to help riders and their horses become confident with each other by keeping them safe, giving them the tools to make their partnership strong, and keeping it fun.

Black Hills Equestrian Center offers a wide variety of services to ensure that this partnership is a great one, including:

  • Boarding
  • Horseback Riding Lessons
  • Horse Training
  • Horse Camps
  • Horse Training Clinics
  • Equine Massage Therapy
  • Horses for Sale
  • Stallion Services
    and more...

We are located on 40 acres in the Black Hills, on the edge of beautiful Spearfish, South Dakota. We have great access to local trails, a large outdoor arena for riding lessons, a round pen for horse training, in addition to our state of the art indoor arena and jumping arena. Local therapeutic riding facilities such as Suncatchers Academy and 4H Clubs all utilize our facilities, and we strive to provide something for everyone.

Please follow the links to learn more about our services and our center. We hope to see you at one of our horse events or at a horseback riding lesson soon!
